LEGAL INFORMATION

We install your solar system to spec, handle all local permitting, and connect you to the New England grid. Our team manages the structural assessments and paperwork so you don't have to.
1.1 Installation Scope
The New England Solar Initiative ("Company") agrees to furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the installation of the solar energy system as specified in the agreed Proposal. The Company will secure all customary local building and electrical permits required for the installation prior to commencing work.
1.2 Utility Interconnection
Following physical installation, the Company acts as the Customer's agent to submit the necessary interconnection applications to the local utility provider (e.g., Eversource, National Grid). The timeline for final Permission to Operate (PTO) is governed by the respective utility's processing schedule, and the Company accepts no liability for delays caused exclusively by utility administrative backlog.
You agree to let our crew access your property during scheduled installation windows. It is your responsibility to manage local HOA approvals and keep trees trimmed if they block your new panels.
2.1 Site Access & Preparation
The Customer agrees to provide safe, unimpeded access to the property during standard business hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST). The installation site must be free of hazards, structural defects, and obstructions. If unexpected structural reinforcement is required (e.g., roof truss upgrades), the Customer will be presented with a revised Change Order before work continues.
2.2 Homeowner Association (HOA) Approvals
While the Company provides technical schematics and documentation, it is the sole responsibility of the Customer to secure any required architectural approvals from their local HOA or historic district commission prior to installation. The Company is not liable for forced system removals resulting from unapproved installations.
We guarantee your system's output for 25 years. If it underperforms due to a defect we caused or equipment failure, we will repair or replace it at zero cost to you.
3.1 Production Guarantee
Subject to the limitations described herein, the Company provides a twenty-five (25) year linear performance guarantee ensuring the system will generate at least 85% of its originally projected energy output at the end of year 25. This guarantee is contingent upon normal weather patterns and unobstructed solar access.
3.2 Exclusions & Force Majeure
The Company's warranties do not cover damage or reduced performance caused by: (a) severe weather events including hurricanes, tornadoes, and unseasonable hail; (b) deliberate tampering or unauthorized modifications by third parties; (c) shading from newly erected structures or unchecked tree growth on the property; or (d) electrical surges originating from the utility grid.
